Sure, I can make a regular, standard looking custom guitar. But, I love to go to the next level.
A personalized finish can make your guitar a reflection of you. Custom mixed colors, styles, patterns, strips, or something that is ‘just you’ will help make your guitar yours. Some of the designs that people have requested are:
Here is one of my first ‘custom’ paint jobs requested. This guitar is simply called The American, you can probably see for yourself what the inspiration for this design. I added colored pickups to add to the design. This durable finish looks great even after months of hard playing. See for your self here.
My goal it to produce a visually beautiful and awesome sounding custom guitar. Obviously excellent sound is the main focus of an awesome guitar. But I don’t want to stop there. I believe the guitar should fit your style, your hand, and be superbly comfortable. Then, I want you to feel that your guitar is really a part of you, an extension of who you are.
Here are some more examples of custom art on my hand made custom guitars. I called this concept ‘Tattoo Ink’, and it is just one of a limitless range of custom paint jobs on my custom made guitars.
As you can see, this style is a bit eccentric or even eclectic. This style is more free form and can portray the type of music you play or the way you feel.
My goal with the customize paint on a hand made custom guitar is to have the guitar look and feel ‘like you’. Take a few moments and think of what your desired custom guitar should look like, I want to make that desired design for you.
Pick some colors, think of a free form design, match your wardrobe, your band logo or colors; all of these are in my wheelhouse for making your custom hand made guitar fit you.
Here are a couple more designs I have done. I can recreate a similar design for your custom painted hand made electric guitar or bass. This style lets me be creative, and still add your personality to your work of art custom guitar.
These two have a ‘the sky is crying’ type of image blended into the custom paint. I feel these are great reflections of the people I made these guitars for. I truly want the owner of one of my custom made guitars to be in love with the entire piece.
Guitars should feel good in your hands, and fit your body as well as your style of play. The custom paint is just one more aspect of the completed custom guitar.
Please contact me to start a discussion so I can make the guitar you have always dreamed of.
